This piece was made to print as a sheet of wrapping paper. Which was used to wrap a box. In collaboration with the entire class, we made a wall installation. We used candies chosen for us to create a motif that could be manipulated into a pattern. The process of trying to destroy these candies in a unique and appealing way, was one of the things we had to consider. Our objective was to make it difficult that the pattern came from destroyed candy while maintaining some of its integrity. From there I choose to make the project into something you might see a brand use. I added the pattern to some items that could potentially be sold in a store.
