This is a two part o-band typeface specimen for Avenir, this was a multi- part project that required two o-band type boxes, as well as a metal typeset collection of pangrams. Our class all individually created a typeset pangram card were we had a partner to simplify the choosing of paper and ink as well to assist one another on the press portion of the project. Then we were also assigned what information to include on two belly band type packaging boxes. While displaying features of two individual type face specimens.
With this project we were creating o-band packaging for a deck of pangram cards. These packages are also designed as type specimen. So in part the purpose of this project was to play with type. I wanted to play with the geometry of the typeface. So I played with lines and graphic elements.
